Grunch of Giants Reviews

Hear what customers say about the Grunch of Giants:

“The future is changing rapidly today. The reason people are getting wiped out fundamentally is because they still think the future is going to be the same. They still think the future is going to be the same it was for their parents…. Of all the books Fuller wrote, and there are many of them, the only one I fully understood was the Grunch of Giants. This is the book that helped me create the Rich Dad company. It is this book that allowed me to not be a victim of the subprime mess…of all the victims of the financial system. When I read Grunch of giants, I understood. I could see a different future for myself, my friends, my family and my company.” –Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad

“Thanks for the post. I will add it to my Amazon list. I was just going to search around tonight for my next read. This might be it!” –Kevin Kaczmarek

“I recently read a Robert Kiyosaki book in which he recommended Grunch of Giants as a must read.” –Mark Yaotse

“This book is definitely vital for understanding the history and growth of the world as we know it… it raises many questions and makes you really think about what you are doing and whether it is for better or for worse of our earth. Intense read and needs to be read more than once because there is just so much to learn.” –D Llanos

“Spaceshipe earth” and geodesic domes came from this man. R. Buckminster Fuller was a chemist with a crstal ball. Buckminister had fulvarene (buckyballs) named after him. Most importantly, he started to popularise what we would consider primitive computer games (the World Game. Buckminster Fuller’s books are an experience that have to be read.” –B. Cano

“This book helped me understand the origins of corporations and their inherent structure, based on greed and becoming more efficient at making a profit. Our technology is so far advanced, that we can feed the world with our current technologies, yet corporations for profit prevent this. That is why they are giants feeding off of the profits and only getting larger. Start your own corporation, set your own rules, and stop being a victim of the GRUNCH.” -Y.F.B.

Grunch of Giants is not the easiest read but the insights are well worth the work. Buckminster Fuller’s two greatest insights are that 1) rich corporate entities, or the Grunch, steal from the poor through the government and more particularly through the Federal Reserve, and 2) that our thinking about the economy is antiquated because the world has changed while at the same time our thinking hasn’t changed.

Grunch steals from poor through government Fuller explains that the Grunch uses government to steal from the poor. One way that the Grunch does this is through inflation. The Federal Reserve is instrumental in creating inflation by manipulating the dollar.

We Need To Change Our Thinking One example in which our thinking is antiquated is in the belief by economists that the world is a world of scarcity. Rather than living in a scarce world that is like a fixed pie that must be divided by all the inhabitants, Fuller make the case for a world of abundance that is limited only by our selfishness and our lack of creative thinking. Fuller explains that technological inovation makes the world’s resources more readily available and abundant for all.” –Mark P. Hopkins
